Other ways to pay less

  • Yearly billing cuts Basic from $12 to $10/month and Pro from $20 to $16/month.
  • Basic (1,000 credits) covers image work. Pro adds the video models, so skip it if you only make images.
  • Top-up credit packs (200 to 1,600 credits) stay on your account until used and kick in after your monthly credits, so one busy month does not force a bigger plan.
  • The $0 plan gives 3 generations per style per day for testing, with public, non-commercial images.

What Recraft does

Recraft generates and edits images, including vector (SVG) art for logos, icons and illustrations. Paid plans also give you other image and video models such as Flux, GPT Image, Veo and Kling. The $0 plan has limited daily generations, and those images are public, owned by Recraft and not for commercial use. Paid plans start at $12/month, or $10/month billed yearly.

  • Vector (SVG) image generation and a vector editor
  • Style Library with custom style creation
  • Other image models on paid plans: Nano Banana, Seedream, GPT Image, Flux
  • Video models on Pro and Teams: Kling, Veo, Sora, Seedance
  • Editing tools: background remover, upscaler, AI eraser, image vectorizer
  • Top-up credit packs that stay on your account until used
  • API billed in prepaid API units
  • Figma, Framer and Chrome extension integrations

Questions about Recraft

Is there a Recraft student discount?

Not that we could find. Recraft's pricing page and plan docs list no student or education price as of 26 Sep 2026. The cheapest paid route is Basic billed yearly, at $10/month ($120/year).

Does it auto-renew, and how do I cancel?

Yes, plans renew each billing period. To cancel, click your profile, pick Manage subscription, then Cancel plan. The plan stays active until the end of the period. Recraft may refund a payment made in the last 30 days if you have not used credits since, or used fewer than 30 credits in total; ask help@recraft.ai.

Does it work outside the US?

Yes. The pricing page lists USD prices and says they do not include VAT, so expect tax on top where it applies. Recraft takes cards, debit cards and bank transfers through Stripe.

Can I use images from the $0 plan commercially?

No. Recraft owns images made on the Free plan, shows them in the public community gallery and does not license them for commercial use. Paid-plan images are private and yours, and they stay yours after you cancel.
