- Annual at $399 works out to $33.25/month. It beats $59 monthly if you'll keep it for more than about 7 months.
- 20% off a year of Coursera Plus, which Coursera lists as ending 2 Dec 2026. On the India page that's ₹11,199.20 instead of ₹13,999. We didn't see the USD version, but 20% off $399 would be $319.20.
- Financial aid covers single courses, not Coursera Plus. Apply from the course page and expect up to 16 days for a decision.
- If your university uses Coursera for Campus, you may already have access through school. Ask your university before paying.
- Coursera applies only one promo at a time, and discounted plans usually skip the 7-day trial.

Questions about Coursera Plus
Is there a Coursera Plus student discount?
No. Coursera's own discounts page says it does not have a dedicated student discount program. It points students to financial aid and its limited-time Coursera Plus promos instead.
How does Coursera financial aid work?
It's per course, not for Coursera Plus. If a course page shows "Financial aid available", you apply there, write at least 150 words and wait up to 16 days. The amount depends on your application and where you live. Starting a subscription trial cancels a pending application, and a Specialization needs one application per course.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Both plans can be canceled anytime. Monthly starts with a 7-day trial: Coursera takes your card upfront but doesn't charge you if you cancel during the trial. Annual has a 14-day refund window from My Purchases, and any certificates you earned in those 14 days are revoked.
Is Coursera Plus cheaper in India?
