The Northwest Registered Agent domain offer gives you a .com domain at $0 for the first 12 months. You search for a name, add it to the cart, create an account and check out. The whole thing takes about ten minutes.

What you need before you start

• The domain name you want, plus one or two backups in case it is taken
• A new Northwest Registered Agent account (name, email, address and phone)
• A payment card for checkout: your main card or a virtual card from your bank

How to claim the .com domain, step by step

   Click to add the domain. In the cart, the domain line should read $0. If it shows a price, stop here and do not pay.

   Create your account

   Make a new account and fill in every required field: name, email, address and phone.

   Read the checkout, then pay

   Enter your payment details. The checkout covers the subscription the offer comes with, so read each line and the total before you confirm.

   Confirm it worked

   You should get a confirmation email, and the domain should show in your account dashboard.

The catch: what to watch after checkout

• The $0 covers the first 12 months. Check the renewal line on the checkout page for what comes after.
• Checkout still collects payment details for the subscription. Read the total before you confirm.
• Set a reminder for month 11 so you can keep, move or cancel the domain on your terms.
